Meet Ashley DiMaggio: Founder & Lead Patient Advocate 

Ashley DiMaggio is the Founder and CEO of GuideWell Patient Advocates LLC. A committed healthcare professional, she is a Registered Nurse (RN) with a Master’s in Nursing (MSN) and brings a wide-ranging background across emergency medicine, long-term care, infection prevention, home care, community health, care navigation, and transitions of care. 

From Clinical Expert to Patient Advocate

Throughout her career, Ashley specialized in coordinating care across settings, supporting patients through hospital discharges, and bridging gaps between specialties—experiences that revealed just how fragmented and confusing healthcare can be for patients and families.

• Diverse Expertise: Ashley's background spans emergency medicine, long-term care, infection prevention, and care transitions, giving her a comprehensive view of the entire patient journey.

• Bridging the Gaps: Her clinical focus was always on ensuring seamless care, which is the foundation of GuideWell's mission.

• Firsthand Insight: Her own health challenges required her to navigate a complicated web of specialists and treatment decisions, giving her firsthand insight into how overwhelming it feels to manage a serious diagnosis while advocating for yourself.

These experiences deepened her passion for patient advocacy. Ashley understands that every patient deserves someone who can connect the dots, champion their needs, and help them feel empowered at every step.
